English Language Partners Christchurch

English Language Partners offers English language services to refugees and migrants. These services are free to NZ residents/citizens, those on Ukraine Special Visa, New Zealand Visitor Visa-Partnership* or New Zealand Work Visa-Partnership* (*the Visa must be this exact wording).

English Language Partners teach English from preliterate level to advanced, to NZ residents/citizens with a focus on practical English for life in New Zealand.

Services include:

• ESOL Literacy classes for those with no or limited prior education, 10 hours per week
• ESOL Intensive, 18 hours per week, Elementary level
• General English, 2-4 hous per week, all levels, in-class or online options
• Home Tutoring - 1 hour per week in your own home with a trained volunteer
• English for Employment - for those working and needing workplace English

Classes run at various times and locations around the city. Please contact the office to arrange a time to register and organise the best class for you.
