The Bridge is an alcohol and other drug (AOD) treatment service offering:

  • Te Awhina: Daily recovery support groups Monday to Friday. Continuing care, peer support and sober activities. Self-referrals welcome.
  • BEP (Brief Education Programme) runs Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings for 5 weeks. This is for those who struggle with the harmful use of alcohol and/or other drugs and who may not need a full residential programme. Alternatively, this can be a great first step towards a more intensive recovery treatment option. Referral through CCS.
  • Nga Kakano: Women only group 2x per week, Tuesday and Thursday
  • 8 week Intensive Alcohol and Other Drug Treatment Programme (usually undertaken as a resident). Those who live locally can add one week as a day client.
  • Family/Whānau Services: Support for anyone who has someone in their life struggling with the misuse of alcohol or drugs - self referral
  • Meth Family Support Group: Facilitated 1st Tuesday of the month in the early evening -self-referral.
